Terms of use

Plain language, because that’s the whole point of this place. By using Advocacy Academy you agree to what follows.

This is training, not legal advice

Advocacy Academy teaches civic and advocacy skills. It is not a law firm, it does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and using it does not create any professional or attorney-client relationship. Nothing here — including anything Trailhead generates for you — is a substitute for a licensed professional. For legal questions, consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.

About the AI

Trailhead uses AI to guide your intake and help you draft. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Treat it as a first draft to check and improve, never as authoritative fact or advice. You are responsible for what you say and do in the rooms you take it into.

Use it ethically

The Academy teaches persuasion under ethical constraint. Do not use it — or its tools — for deception, harassment, intimidation, fraud, or any unlawful purpose, and do not use it to speak over the communities most affected by a fight. We may decline service that turns the tools to those ends.

Your work and our content

The plans and artifacts you create are yours. The curriculum, the method, and the site’s content are the intellectual property of Frederick Tronboll and are offered free for your own advocacy and learning — you may read, print, and use the free worksheets, but please don’t republish, resell, or pass the coursework off as your own.

Free, as-is, and evolving

The platform is free and provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and we aren’t liable for what happens in the fights you take on — the outcomes are yours. We may add to, change, or occasionally take down parts of the service as it grows. Your continued use means you accept the current version of these terms.
